However the save system seems to be good at remembering your resource counts and achievement history! There are occasionally things to come back for in terms of updates, although a minor frustration might be coming back between versions might force you to respec when a system is overhauled. Spells and weapons are all pretty fun to grind for, and achievement grinding will get you plenty of hours on its own. More recent updates reward players for moving around the map to collect bonuses for each class, which I think is pretty neat since it used to be pretty common to just camp corners in this game. Old reviews might complain about visibility of screen when there's effect and enemies, but you can toggle opacity on spells all the way up to making them invisible so you can still see enemies. It's much easier to see what spells are available in each character pool and which ones are locked behind achievements. Things have become more streamlined and easier to read over time.
